The Junior Menace developmental program is for BOYS and GIRLS ages 3-9.

What to Expect

All Junior Menace sessions are run by professional-licensed soccer coaches and are assisted by the Menace men's and women's team players, Menace Academy players and local college players.  Coaches will work closely with our Junior Menace players to ensure they are learning new soccer skills while being challenged in a fun and safe environment. 

The 3-4 year-old program will take place for 30 minutes from 5:30 to 6:00pm, two times per week, for the duration of 5 weeks in a session. Practice nights for 3 and 4-year-olds will focus on coordination and balance exercises surrounding the game of soccer and game nights will focus on age-appropriate games that introduce the basic concepts of soccer. The registration cost for one session is $50.

The 5-9 year-old program will take place for 1 hour from 6:00 to 7:00pm, two times per week, for the duration of 5 weeks in a session. Practice nights for the 5-9 year-old group will focus on technical footwork, speed and agility exercises and introduce "team" concepts, such as passing and spacing. Game nights will feature small-sided games and teams will be formed each game night so there are no "set" teams. Players may be moved around on teams and fields throughout the game nights to encourage development and to help create a fun and challenging playing environment. The registration cost for one session is $100.

What to Bring

Each participant should bring water, a soccer ball (size 3 or 4), shin-guards and wear cleats or tennis shoes.  Please dress your child for the weather and bring layers, the fields can be very windy and cold at times. There are portable toilets at each location, but no concession stands.  Each player will also receive a Junior Menace jersey as part of the registration cost.
