PROMOTIONS: “World Cup Night” – Wear your favorite team’s jersey.

GAMETIME: 7:30 p.m.

MERCHANDISE: While supplies last, get your “Celebrate Iowa” t-shirt-plus-ticket package for $20. You’ll get a t-shirt (like pictured above) and a ticket for our “Celebrate Iowa Night” the next day. Sizes and quantities are limited – first come, first served, and these t-shirt-plus-ticket packages will be available at the information table and the merchandise stand.

PREGAME: At the information table, fans who correctly guess the winners of our two feature games from the World Cup’s knockout stage will have a chance to win a Menace prize pack.Representatives from Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield will present our speedy mascot, Maniac, with his reward (a $1,000 donation to the Menace Youth Foundation) for his second straight victory in the Mascot Madness Challenge at the Grand Blue Mile (this past April).

SATURDAY, JUNE 30: MENACE vs. UNION DUBUQUE FC

PROMOTIONS: “Celebrate Iowa” Night -- Come to Friday night’s game to get your limited-edition “Celebrate Iowa” t-shirt and then proudly wear it when you come back on Saturday night. 

GAMETIME: 7:30 p.m.

DOUBLEHEADER: Two games for the price of one – The Menace Women host the Kansas City Courage at 4:30 p.m. Valley Stadium ticket silo and gate open at 3:45.

FOOD TRUCK: Updated Thursday, June 28 at 4:30 p.m. -- Sorry to say Roadside Tacos is not able to make it to Saturday's game as planned. We look forward to having Roadside Tacos back with us July 6-7.

PREGAME: Stop by a table for Soten Taiko, a Japanese drum group performing at halftime.

HALFTIME: We’ll introduce members of the 2018 Iowa Class 3A champion Ankeny Centennial girls. Soten Taiko, part of Japan America Society of Iowa, will share the ancient sounds of taiko drumming.

TICKETS: $10 for adults (18 and older); $8 for youth (ages 6-17); Free admission for ages 5 and under. $20 for a sideline seat at a V.I.P. table. The ticket silo (on field level) opens at 6 p.m.

FOR ALL MENACE HOME GAMES…

KIDS’ ZONE: Children are invited to head to the east side of Valley Stadium to play in the Street Soccer Zone and the Soccer Ball Bounce House. There’s no additional charge for the Kids’ Zone, which is open from 6:30 p.m. until the game’s 70th minute.

BEFORE THE GAMES: Children are invited on the field, starting at 7:20, for the human tunnel – Give high fives to the players as they enter the field for lineup introductions.

FIRST HALF: Sign up at the Info Table for a chance at one of two V.I.P. table upgrades, thanks to Kum & Go and Soccer Master. 

HALFTIME: Play Chuck-for-a-Buck: Buy your red rubber balls during the first half, and take aim at prizes from these sponsors: Dino’s Bar & Grill…Frito Lay…Gilroy’s Kitchen + Patio + Pub…Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Des Moines Northwest…Kum & Go…and the Des Moines Menace.

 

 

PARKING: Season-ticket members receive access to the V.I.P. Parking Lot (field level) close to the entrance. There’s also plenty of free parking available in the upper parking lot as well as the City Hall parking lot.

SUPPORTERS’ CLUBS: Want to hang out with some soccer nuts? You can cheer and chant with the Red Army in the bleachers behind the north goal or with the Bucket Brigade at midfield in the stands.

RESTROOMS: There are two sets of restrooms – one on the north side of the main building (to the left of the entrance) and one on the upper level (behind the west bleachers).

 

AFTER THE GAMES: Meet the Menace players on the field for autographs and pictures. For the 21-and-older crowd, join the players and coaches at BeerStyles Taproom & Gastropub (in West Glen Town Center) for the Official Postgame Party of the Menace – Your ticket stub will get you a free drink.
