The fun continues this Saturday, when the 9-0-0 Menace hosts Kaw Valley.

It’s a good thing we’ll have a firetruck at Valley Stadium this Saturday…
because the Menace is ON FIRE!
 
The team’s won all nine of its league matches, and you can catch the
Premier Development League leaders at home the next four weekends.

Join us for the push to the playoffs. 

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 23: MENACE vs. KAW VALLEY FC

PROMOTIONS: “Heroes in Our Community” Night 

GAMETIME: 7:30 p.m.

DOUBLEHEADER: The girls’ edition of the Iowa High School All-Star Game kicks off at 5 p.m. One ticket gets you in for both Saturday games.

INTERNATIONAL FOOD: Fans can purchase El Salvadorian pupusas from the United Futbol Association.

PREGAME: At the main entrance, some heroes in our community will be on hand with a firetruck and an ambulance.

HALFTIME: We’ll recognize the Iowa High School All-Stars (girls). Also, Charlie Bales will have some fun with players and fans in "Interrogation Station"

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Jack Pearson (No, not the same Jack Pearson who used to play for the Menace)

GROUP OUTINGS: The United Futbol Association, West Des Moines Christian Church, and the girls soccer teams from these high schools: Creston, Des Moines Lincoln, and North Polk

 

TICKETS: $10 for adults (18 and older); $8 for youth (ages 6-17); Free admission for ages 5 and under. $20 for a sideline seat at a V.I.P. table. The ticket silo (on field level) opens at 6 p.m.

FOR ALL MENACE HOME GAMES…

KIDS’ ZONE: Children are invited to head to the east side of Valley Stadium to play in the Street Soccer Zone and the Soccer Ball Bounce House. There’s no additional charge for the Kids’ Zone, which is open from 6:30 p.m. until the game’s 70th minute.

BEFORE THE GAMES: Children are invited on the field, starting at 7:20, for the human tunnel – Give high fives to the players as they enter the field for lineup introductions.

FIRST HALF: Sign up at the Info Table for a chance at one of two V.I.P. table upgrades, thanks to Kum & Go and Soccer Master. If you’re 18 and older, play 50/50 for a chance at a cash payout, while supporting the Menace Academy.

HALFTIME: Play Chuck-for-a-Buck: Buy your red rubber balls during the first half, and take aim at prizes from these sponsors: Dino’s Bar & Grill…Frito Lay…Gilroy’s Kitchen + Patio + Pub…Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Des Moines Northwest…Kum & Go…and the Des Moines Menace.

SECOND HALF: If you’re 18 and older, play 50/50 for a chance at a cash payout, while supporting the Menace Academy. 50/50 tickets will be available from pregame to soon after halftime. We’ll announce the winner around the 70th minute.

 

PARKING: Season-ticket members receive access to the V.I.P. Parking Lot (field level) close to the entrance. There’s also plenty of free parking available in the upper parking lot as well as the City Hall parking lot.

SUPPORTERS’ CLUBS: Want to hang out with some soccer nuts? You can cheer and chant with the Red Army in the bleachers behind the north goal or with the Bucket Brigade at midfield in the stands.

RESTROOMS: There are two sets of restrooms – one on the north side of the main building (to the left of the entrance) and one on the upper level (behind the west bleachers).

 

AFTER THE GAMES: Meet the Menace players on the field for autographs and pictures. For the 21-and-older crowd, join the players and coaches at BeerStyles Taproom & Gastropub (in West Glen Town Center) for the Official Postgame Party of the Menace – Your ticket stub will get you a free drink.

 

WHAT’S NEXT: The home action keeps on coming – June 29 and 30, then on to four more gamedays in July!
