Chelsea Cline, former Menace Academy player and Des Moines native, was selected as the United Soccer Leagues' W-League Player of the Week following her five goal, one assist performance in the Minnesota Lightning’s three wins last week.
This is Chelsea's second season with the W-League's Minnesota Lightning. She recently finished her senior season at Shattuck-St. Mary's in Minnesota and will attend UCLA in the fall to play for the Bruins. Chelsea is also a member of the U-20 US Women's National Team pool.
