Former Menace goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum has assisted the Columbus Crew to an eight-game unbeaten streak. Gruenebaum was the starting keeper and MVP for the 2005 Menace team that won the PDL Championship.
Last season Gruenebaum served as back-up goalie for the Crew behind starter Will Hesmer He has been in the starting role for the Crew since the middle of April.
Columbus currently has a record of 3-2-7, and they are 3-0-4 with Gruenebaum in goal.
