Two former Menace players, Cody Reinberg and Nicki Patterson, recently signed to play with the Harrisburg City Islanders in 2009.  Both Cody and Nicki were part of the 2008 Menace squad which missed the playoffs by a single point. 

In December both players were invited to participate in the USL's Player Showcase which took place in Charleston, South Carolina.  The Showcase provides top professional coaches from USL-1, USL-2 and Major League Soccer (MLS) teams an opportunity to scout potential professional players from the amateur ranks. For Mann and other Premier Development League (PDL) coaches, it is an opportunity to build connections that will hopefully give their players the chance to play professionally.

Menace head coach Casey Mann was also at the Showcase helping his players make the most out of the event.  Mann is excited that both guys will be playing at the next level. "Its a great opportunity for the both of them," stated Mann, "Harrisburg has a great setup and a really good coaching staff, so both will have a great chance to develop as professionals."
