Cruz Assists US-U20 MNT in Win Over Jamaica

Danny Cruz, a member of the 2008 Menace, notched two assists as the US U-20 Men's National Team beat Jamaica 3-0 at the 2009 CONCACAF U-20 Championships.

ACOLET, Tobago (March 6, 2009) - The U.S. Under 20 Men's National team competed in the final round of CONCACAF Qualifying as they beat Jamiaca 3-0.  Danny Cruz, a former Menace standout, notched assists on the team's first two goals, earning him ussoccer.com's Man of the Match recognition.

In seven matches with the Menace in 2008, Cruz tallied three goals and two assists.  He attended school and played soccer at UNLV for two seasons before going pro in January and signing with Generation Adidas.  Cruz was later selected by the Houston Dynamo in the 2009 SuperDraft.
