2025 Regular Season Schedule Release

The 2025 USL League Two season is set to be an exciting one for the Des Moines Menace, moving to the newly introduced Great Plains Division in the Central Conference. This new alignment brings fresh rivalries and matchups that are sure to captivate fans throughout the season.

Great Plains Division Overview

The Great Plains Division includes the following teams:

  • Des Moines Menace
  • Peoria City
  • Springfield FC
  • St Louis Ambush
  • Santafe Wanderers
  • Sunflower State FC

Key Notes:

Fans can look forward to several exciting matchups within the Great Plains Division:

  • Peoria City: The only team in the division that the Menace have seen before. June 14 at Valley Stadium will be a rematch of last season's thrilling match up in the Central Conference Semi-Final, where the Menace lost in penalty kicks. The Menace travel to Shea Stadium on July 2. 
  • Springfield FC: Founded in 2011, this club is making their debut in the USL League Two this season. The Menace will host Springfield FC first on June 7 and travel to Illinois on June 18. 
  • St Louis Ambush: A Major Arena Soccer League team bringing their game outdoors this season. The Menace's first away match will be in St Louis on May 24.
  • Santafe Wanderers: This club is celebrating their 30th season with a change of competition. They make their debut in the USL League Two with a match up against the Menace on May 17 at Valley Stadium. 
  • Sunflower State FC: Another Kansas City team venturing into the USL League Two for the first time, they spent last season playing in the National Premier Soccer League. The Menace will meet Sunflower State FC three times this season, hosting them twice at Valley Stadium on May 31 and July 5.
