After leading the Charleston Battery to the 2010 USL-2 title, Lamar Neagle has caught on with IFK Mariehamn of the Finnish Premier Division. The Menace alum (2007-08) is enjoying his time overseas, with hopes of getting back to Major League Soccer.

Thomas Ostrander, a member of the 2009 Menace PDL team, was the hero Sept. 28 on "Menace Night," scoring in the 90th minute. His goal gave Drake a 3-2 win over Western Illinois on a night when red-clad members of the Menace Academy filled the Cownie Stadium stands.

All soccer fans are invited to Cownie Soccer Complex on Tuesday (Sept. 28), when Drake hosts Western Illinois in a rematch of a first-round matchup from the 2009 NCAA Tournament. Several former Menace PDL players are on the rosters of these teams.

Former Menace defender Stefan De Las signed a contract on Aug. 21 to play professionally for Myllkosken Pallo - 47. He follows in the footsteps of Menace assistant coach Neathan Gibson, who played for the Finnish club from 1998-2000.
