Des Moines' two Elite Eight soccer teams go head-to-head Saturday at Valley Stadium. The Menace opens the 2010 season by hosting Drake University. It's the only preseason tune-up for the Menace, whose regular season starts Wednesday at Springfield.

Former Menace players Justin Davis and Jason Griffiths were chosen in the 2010 Major League Soccer SuperDraft on Thursday, Jan. 14. Real Salt Lake picked Davis (2007-08 Menace, New Mexico), and the New England Revolution drafted Griffiths (2009 Menace, Kentucky).
